The SAS 9201-16E is a 16-port, 6Gb/s SAS/SATA PCIe 2.0 x8 host bus adapter used to connect a server or workstation to external disk enclosures (JBODs). It provides four external Mini-SAS SFF-8088 ports, each carrying 4 SAS lanes, enabling connection to up to 16 SAS or SATA drives or expansion enclosures.
