The Cisco N3K-C3048-FAN is a hot-swappable fan module designed for the Cisco Nexus 3048 switch. It ensures efficient thermal management by providing front-to-back forced air cooling, drawing air in through the back and exhausting it out the front of the switch. This module contains four individual fans configured in a 2+2 redundancy setup, allowing for continued operation even if one fan fails. The fan speeds are dynamically adjusted based on system temperature, optimizing cooling efficiency and noise levels.
