The EX-UM-4X4SFP is a hot-swappable uplink expansion module designed specifically for use with the Juniper EX4300 series Ethernet switches. It provides additional high-speed external network ports to increase a switch’s connectivity and uplink capacity.

• Adds four flexible uplink ports: Each port supports 1 GbE (SFP) and 10 GbE (SFP+) connections, so you can use a mix of SFP and SFP+ transceivers based on your needs.
• Hot-swappable: Can be installed or removed without powering down the switch, minimizing network downtime.
• Enhances network performance: By adding up to four high-speed links to aggregation switches, servers, or core routers.
• Supports Virtual Chassis and VCF: These ports can be configured as Virtual Chassis Ports (VCPs) to interconnect multiple EX4300 switches into a single logical unit or Virtual Chassis Fabric.
