EXT‑HC3‑001 is an extension/control board for the Gigamon GigaVUE‑HC3 network visibility appliance. It provides management, console, cluster, and USB interfaces, along with status LEDs, enabling administrators to manage and monitor the appliance efficiently. This board is installed in the front panel of the HC3 chassis and is responsible for control-plane connectivity. It does not handle production network traffic, which is managed by other line cards or network modules in the chassis.
