SummitStack is Extreme Networks' stacking technology that enables multiple switches to operate as a single, unified system. This approach simplifies network management and enhances scalability and redundancy. SummitStack allows up to eight individual Summit® switches to be physically connected, forming a single logical unit. This configuration reduces management overhead by enabling the entire stack to be managed via a single IP address and point of authentication.
